Welcome to The Grammar and Writing Workshop! My name is Anna-Maria Lane. I am a certified teacher with 12 years of experience teaching language arts in public schools, private schools, and homeschool co-ops and 12 years of experience homeschooling my children. I offer a self-paced, comprehensive grammar and writing course for 7th-12th graders; an instructor paced (with 8 optional live sessions), comprehensive grammar and writing course for 7th-12th graders; and occasional live writing classes. 

My comprehensive grammar and writing course covers all of the grammar your child will need to learn and includes basic essay writing instruction. The best part is that you, the parent, don’t have to grade anything! Lessons are delivered through videos that students watch on their own schedules. Each lesson has an accompanying handout that students fill out while watching the video. Handouts may be printed one lesson at a time or several modules (units) at a time. Exercises are graded by the students themselves (guided by video) while quizzes, tests, and essays are graded by the instructor and include detailed feedback. Students use Google Classroom to view lessons and submit assignments.
