WELCOME TO EUREKAVILLE!
Eurekaville is a place where learning connections are created. Here, students can build a base of knowledge for a lifetime of education.
Our specialty is unit studies. Eurekaville unit study courses guide students through a variety of topics. For example, one unit may include science, history, art, poetry, and geography. We enjoy investigating all subjects here, and our goal is to connect the fascinating ideas that students will remember for a lifetime. We hope the academic connections made here will enable "big picture" learning in the future.
We provide products for classroom teachers, homeschoolers, and online learners. Our goal is to engage students with thought-provoking and interesting material. We hope to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for learning!
MEET THE FOUNDER
I became a teacher because I love to learn. I have over twenty years of classroom teaching experience from kindergarten through college (as a teaching assistant), and six years as a homeschool parent. Most of my career I worked in elementary schools because I liked that I was able to teach a variety of subjects there.
In addition to teaching I have been a curriculum writer for my school district, led teachers as a math consultant, and scored the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking. I've been lucky enough to present at several events where I combined math and creativity, two of my passions. During my time as a homeschool parent I provided enrichment classes to our community. I look forward to sharing my passions with your learners!
