About Me: Hello! I'm Susan Asplund of Tamarack Learning Center. I'm a friendly and experienced teacher dedicated to igniting the spark of learning in every student. With a background in Special Education and Literacy, I specialize in creating engaging and challenging learning environments tailored to each learner's unique strengths and needs. I offer live online classes, asynchronous self-paced courses, and individualized 1:1 tutoring.

I have the expertise to adapt and enhance curricula to cater to diverse learning needs in subjects including math, social studies, science, and life skills.
Understanding and Support:
As a mother of Twice-Exceptional students, I understand the delicate balance of meeting individual needs while providing engaging content. My own experience with ADHD allows me to empathize with students facing similar challenges.
Inclusive Environment:
I am committed to fostering an anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ inclusive environment. I actively seek decolonized resources and advocate for transgender issues.
Continuous Learning:
With two Master's Degrees and ongoing professional development, I ensure my teaching methods are up-to-date and effective. I am certified in various educational platforms and tools to enhance learning experiences.
