This course delves into American history by studying the lives of influential figures, ranging from well-known heroes like Paul Revere and Samuel Adams to lesser-known figures such as Mary Ludwig and Daniel Webster. Students will explore how these individuals contributed to key events, including the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and the Civil War. The course will emphasize the creation of outline notes, effective quiz study techniques, and different ways for students to demonstrate their understanding of each week's lesson.
