In this English IV course, students will immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of British literature throughout history. We will study texts chronologically, exploring their historical and literary contexts while examining their lasting impact today. From Beowulf to contemporary works, students will encounter a diverse array of themes, including early Christian writings, political struggles, social class dynamics, poetry, war, and intrigue. Join us for a captivating journey through significant pieces of English literature!
English IV is an interactive class featuring lively discussions, vocabulary enrichment, projects, and writing assignments. Due to the dialogue-driven nature of the course, a functioning microphone will be required.
