Prerequisite: A 'B' or better in a one-year Spanish course. Please contact Mrs. Philips if you are unsure whether or not your student is ready for Spanish II.

There are two sections of this class available:

• Spanish II - GROUP 1 - FY - Mondays @ 12:15 PM ET
• Spanish II - GROUP 2 - FY - Thursdays @ 12:15 PM ET

After beginning with a review, this second-year Spanish course continues to build upon the concepts learned in Spanish I. Students will continue to explore the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. They will also learn to talk about travel and vacations, communicate their daily routine, express events in the past, shop for clothing, as well as discuss sports and movies.

Learning Spanish is a skill-based activity, much like playing a sport or a musical instrument, which makes this course highly interactive. Each class will involve engaging activities and games that enhance listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. To fully participate, each student should bring a headset microphone to class.
