Join me for a fun ongoing English course, perfect for 9-11-year-olds, with an experienced UK teacher, where we will master reading, writing, grammar, and spelling skills through the UK national curriculum goals. Free certificates each term!

This class is perfect for 9-11 year olds, but this is not a strict age limit and other age students are welcome depending on ability.

 Beginners will be guided step-by-step, and advanced students are challenged with targeted questions and vocabulary.

Maximum of 6 in a class!

Classes are hosted on zoom or Outschool depending on the numbers.

-Getting to know you game or activity

-A quick and snappy grammar starter

-Introduction to the topic- reading a shared text or a modelled example

-Guided instruction -this is where I explain and show how to complete the activity

-Independent work

-Sharing work and feedback within the class.

-There is always an opportunity for students to finish their work after class and submit for feedback as I wouldn’t want a student to feel rushed or pressured into sharing.

Weekly lessons cover a reading focus and a writing focus. The first lesson of the week is always the reading lesson.

Greek Myths

Environment


Children and adults are very welcome to suggest topics and areas of interest and I can then fit the curriculum
objectives around them!
