Professional Experience
For more than 15 years, I have been a dedicated teacher in mainstream British primary schools. During a decade of that time, I served as the Head of English at two different schools, where I was instrumental in fostering progress and achievement. My commitment as both an educator and leader has always focused on helping children achieve academic excellence through dynamic and innovative lessons. I have worked with a diverse range of students, including those with additional needs and those identified as gifted and talented.
Philosophy
My educational philosophy is centered on ensuring that every child has equal opportunities, regardless of their background or abilities. I am committed to giving each student the chance to learn and succeed, while providing appropriate challenges at every level. In my classroom, students should feel welcomed and valued, cultivating a love for learning that lasts throughout their academic journey and into adulthood. I believe education should be enjoyable and stimulating, as happy children are more likely to learn and retain knowledge.
About Me
I currently live in a village in England and teach at a local primary school. Spending time with my family is a priority, and being a parent of two young children has deepened my understanding and appreciation of how children learn. This firsthand experience has given me valuable insights into the challenges some children face in a school environment.
I prioritise maintaining physical health and regularly engage in workouts and gym sessions, believing that a positive mental mindset is closely linked to good physical health. Early in my teaching career, I spent six months teaching English to children in India, which broadened my cultural and educational perspectives. A highlight of my career was meeting Prince William and Prince Harry during a school trip to a concert at Wembley.
