Description

In this one-time interactive discussion class we will first explore why it's important to be skeptical of people who have power, or who want power.  Then we will talk about our own ideas on what qualities make a good leader, as well as the ideas of the ancient Greek philosopher Plato.  We will then apply these concepts to various people in the Harry Potter books in order to address our ultimate question:  who would make a good minister of magic, and why?  Would Harry himself make a good leader?  Would Dumbledore?   And if you like this class, be sure to check out my self-paced classes on "Harry Potter and Philosophy!"
