There are two sections of this class available:

Life Science is an excellent introductory course for grades 6-8, designed to engage students in the fundamentals of biology in the first semester and explore human body systems in the second semester. Throughout the year, students will learn about the organization of life, essential molecules, cells, DNA, heredity and genetics, various types of living organisms, and the human skeletal, muscular, integumentary, nervous, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, and urinary systems. Students will participate in weekly class activities that may include readings, worksheets, and hands-on projects like creating models or diagrams, alongside laboratory experiments. Quizzes will be administered approximately every three weeks to assess understanding of the material covered in class.
