How can you bring paper to life? Join me to learn how to create fabulous pop-up cards with faces and objects that pop off the page, and how to connect multiples together to make a simple, amazing pop-up book!

WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT?

Up to 8 young artists will meet once a week for 3 weeks to learn basic pop-up techniques, along with methods to combine them to create creative cards and books! They'll leave with a lot of experience with the basic box and the basic beak, and will likely be making greeting cards for friends and relatives ever after.

Kids need to have manual dexterity to cut and fold well - I'll review techniques in class, but without basic dexterity kids won't be able to succeed in this class.

WHAT ART SUPPLIES DO I NEED?

You'll get a supply list when you register, but what's most important for this class is HEAVYWEIGHT paper - either construction paper or cardstock! Without that, the class will feel VERY challenging for learners. You'll also need scissors and a glue stick.
