Description
This is a 30-minute, one-on-one math tutoring class, meant to help individual learners with various math skills. I also teach classes 45-minute, 60-minute, and 90-minute math classes, so please contact me if you think a different length of class would better for you.
Sometimes a student just needs a different approach or another individual help in order to excel and flourish in a given area. If you feel that a longer class would be more appropriate for your child, please book that class or send me a message and we'll figure out what would be best for your student. Please see my class availability below.
Learners or parents should send a message upon enrollment to discuss the needs of the learner (specifying areas that come easy for the student as well as areas in which the student struggles). I would be happy to do a quick assessment at the beginning of class to know where it would be best to begin working if needed.
I am qualified and prepared to teach a full-curriculum for any of these grades, so please send me a message if you are interested in signing up for a full year of classes.
Many students need extra help understanding or practicing certain math concepts. Some of these concepts might include:
- Multiplication
- Division
- Fractions
- Decimals
- Addition / Subtraction
- LCM (Lowest Common Denominator)
- GCF (Greatest Common Factor)
- Algebra
- Geometry
- Other concepts
If your student needs help with homework or specific assignments, please let me know and then send me a copy of the math homework or assignments. I can be more beneficial for your students if I know in advance what areas of math we will be working on so I am prepared with the correct teaching materials. I would be happy to assist with whatever would be most helpful for the student.
I want to connect with each learner and let them know that I care about them individually and want them to succeed.
