Description
Transition to High School Literature Class Information
See our full course description and additional information such as required supplies on our website.
This course serves as a transitional semester, designed to prepare students for the expectations of high school-level literature and analysis. The materials progress steadily in difficulty to build a strong foundation in literature analysis skills, setting students up for success in high school. This class is ideal for eighth graders seeking to prepare for the demands of high school literature or for high school students who struggle with analysis, have limited experience with literature, or need additional support. Weekly assignments will focus on building comprehension, analysis, and vocabulary, with a cumulative project or essay following each book read.
