There are two sections of this class available:

• World History - GROUP 1 - FY - Mondays @ 2:00 PM ET
• World History - GROUP 2 - FY - Wednesdays @ 10:30 AM ET

In this year-long survey course, students will explore world history from Creation to the present through a broadly Christian lens. Utilizing our textbook as a foundational resource, students will engage with key figures from the past through selected readings, all of which will be accessible via our LMS or online. Each week, students will complete assignments based on these readings.

In addition to weekly tasks, coursework will include projects and class discussions that encourage students to share their thoughts on the events and individuals that have shaped world history. The course will also feature several short writing assignments based on common readings, along with one research paper due in the spring.

Throughout the research process, students will develop important skills such as critical thinking, sourcing primary and secondary materials, conducting research and note-taking, crafting and defending a thesis, and composing a history research paper.
