Secular Curriculum
I am a state-certified mathematics teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching students high school level math. In 2010, I also started teaching students online. I have also taught at a public high school, community college, homeschool co-ops, and an alternative school. I retired from teaching high school math at a public high school in 2018. Now, I enjoy homeschooling my son, playing with my grandchildren, and teaching students online from all over the world.
I believe that students learn by DOING! My class is a safe place to try, make mistakes, and try again. In my classes, I incorporate plenty of opportunities for practice, and I give meaningful individualized feedback to students. During class meetings, I encourage active participation from each student, and provide ways for shy students to participate in ways that make them feel comfortable. I will work with your student to help them be successful in math.

In this six-session course, students will learn the foundations of Geometry which will set them up for success in their high school Geometry endeavors.

ANY child can be successful in math! With individual attention and solid instruction, every child can flourish. Tutoring sessions are available for middle school math topics through Algebra 2.
