Class Size: 2-8 students

Dates: This class will be offered before the fall, spring, and summer semesters start. Classes may be requested for a group of 5 or more students. Please message me for details.

Curriculum: All instructional materials are provided by me.  

Scope and Sequence: Using IEW's unit four structure as our foundation, we will discuss mechanics, style, and the process needed to write a descriptive paragraph. 

Class Structure: Cass opens with a brief greeting time centered around our writing subject. The first segment of class focuses on mechanics and style. The main writing lesson time uses instruction and group writing exercises to present and practice structure. Class concludes with a brief review exercise. Instructions concerning the writing assignment and a reminder about the style challenge is posted in the classroom at the conclusion of class.

Assignments: An optional writing assignment will be given following class. All assignments that are submitted to me within two weeks of the end of class will receive editing and written feedback.

Note: Ages are flexible for this class.
