Dates: I have two different tutoring schedules each year: summer and school year. 

• 24-25 tutoring hours begin August 21st.   There are a limited number of spots available for the 24-25 school year.   That availability will be listed on the Outschool calendar and will be kept current.
• 2025 Summer tutoring hours will be in June, July, and August. Availability will be listed in May 2025.

If a one-time session is desired, please send me an email for my current availability.

In 25-minute tutoring sessions, the learner will receive guidance on paragraph, report, or essay writing according to the IEW Structure and Style writing method.  Please send me an email to inquire about current availability. 

Curriculum: Several options for curriculum are available for our sessions. 

1. IEW theme-based books (purchased by the student)  
   • People and Places in the Community
   • Adventures in Writing
   • Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales
   • Ancient History-Based Writing Lessons
   • Medieval History-Based Writing Lessons
   • Wonders of Science Writing Lessons
   • US History-Based Writing Lessons
   • Modern World History-Based Writing Lessons
2. Structure and Style for Students (purchased by the student)
   • Note: the student may watch the videos or I can instruct in place of the videos. 
3. IEW Writing Source Packet (purchased by the student)
4. Writing Assignments from other classes (submitted by the student)
5. My level A (elementary reading level) sources that I have developed (PDF files provided by me)

NOTE: I am also able to tutor Lost Tools of Writing Level One. Student workbook purchase is required for class.

Class Structure: Our sessions will be directed by the student's need.  

Assignments: Suggestions for next steps will be given following the tutoring session.  Editing and feedback will occur in the tutoring session.  Questions are always welcome during and after the sessions.
