Description
"Geography: Live Online!" engages students in research and a variety of games, projects, and in-class activities designed to expand understanding of U.S. and world geography. Each hour-long class features a theme that combines elements of human geography (political boundaries, cultural and demographic patterns, cities, languages, and more) and physical geography (landforms, oceans, biomes, waterways...) with a generous sprinkling of history, science, economics, and critical thinking.
Optional end-of-semester honors project for those who want to extend their learning.
Neurodivergency Specializations and Accommodations
Class designed with gifted learners in mind: multi-level research-based assignments, high input, relatively low output. For students who want to dig deep, not just check a box.
