Secular Curriculum
Maryland
My niche is providing engaging, content-rich classes for gifted home schoolers and other independent learners because I home schooled two gifted kiddos myself -- from early elementary school to college! -- and know how hard it can be to find the just-right level of challenge without a ton of busywork.
I do not conflate intellectual rigor with workload and have designed my classes to be heavy on the input, relatively lighter on the output. I tend to emphasize critical thinking and connections across the curriculum. Intellectually curious students generally love my classes! (My classes are not the best choice for students who are just looking to check a box.)
