Description
Using the text, Adventures in Writing, various topics are explored in this course while learners experience the writing method from the Institute for Excellence in Writing®. This is a great course for learners just starting out with IEW, or for young learners who want some more practice before participating in a more difficult course.
Learners will write about topics like the Nile River, the orchestra and conductor, and tornadoes. They will also write about the Theft of Thor's Hammer!
We will have fun brainstorming ideas for our outlines live together while also playing some fun vocabulary games.
Learners will practice their grammar and apply that to their paragraphs to make them more interesting and engaging.
All of this is done at a slower, more relaxed pace, but learners should still be prepared to do their homework.
BONUS:
Create an ebook, podcast, or fake Instagram account! Recordings for these projects will be available to learners that will show them how to use online tools to complete these fun projects!
