Class Size: 4-10 students

Note: A private class may be requested for a group that wants to meet together online for the summer.  A minimum of five students is required. Please message me for availability.

Focus on summer fun while keeping writing skills fresh.

Curriculum: All instructional materials are presented in class. There are no materials to purchase.  

Scope and Sequence: Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) writing methods will be taught including key word outlines, paragraph structure, and style techniques.

Class Structure: Each class opens with greeting time followed by a brief grammar/mechanics or style lesson.  A group writing exercise will introduce the structure and theme of that week's writing challenge.  Each class will provide guided writing time to begin the writing challenge.  Questions may be asked via chat during the individual writing time. Each week's class will end with an opportunity for presentations. 

Assignments: A writing challenge will be given each week.  Editing and written feedback will be received on any of the challenges that are submitted to me.
