In this one-off Self-Paced (Flex) class, learners will use Canva to create a video presentation of a book review.

As a Self-Paced Flex class, there are no live videos, but learners will have access to a video of me demonstrating how to create their book review Canva presentation and a step-by-step guide to creating the video.

This lesson consists of a 30 minute video of me demo-ing the task. Learners can pause for breaks, or to try things out in Canva as we go.

They will also be shown how they can structure a book review, with ideas about what to include, and what order to include it in. This is a fun way to develop book reviews, by adding the graphic design and video elements to this more traditional task.

Learners can upload their video link for me to view. Please note that learners will learn how to create a video with a shareable link. Discuss with your learners that these should only be shared with adult permission.

Learners will need their own free Canva account set-up prior to the lesson. Students will be filming themselves so a computer camera will also be required.
