What others have said about my classes:
"Excellent! I cannot express enough how much I appreciate Ms. Riot as a teacher. She has such a beautiful, kind personality that is perfect for teaching and working with children. I wish she could be my daughter's full-time teacher. It is very hard to find a teacher who is so kind and caring. I highly recommend Ms. Riot. My daughter loves learning with her!"
"What a great class for those who are reluctant writers. M (10 years old) finds writing book reports terribly difficult. However, making a presentation was so different! She happily spent 3 hours working on her book report for Ms. Riot. What a win for dyslexic learners!"
"Ms. Riot's class gave specific instructions that were easy to follow, so that anyone could make their first presentation video after watching this class."
"Wonderful! Covered everything needed from start to finish. Engaging and informative throughout."
"Loved this class for my children. Ms. Riot kept the children’s attention, explaining everything, so that the assignment could be understood and completed."

I deliver classes for learners aged between 7-16. My style of teaching is quite structured and traditional (even though I am far from traditional!), delivered with care, encouragement and an openness to mistakes and questions.
I am an experienced classroom teacher, and I am also a freelance educational curriculum creator. I also deliver training to trainee teachers, and am specialist exam board marker. I have run different businesses, alongside my teaching career, so I also deliver entrepreneurship and Canva lessons.
Even as a school-based teacher, I had brightly colored hair, and visible tattoos. I am welcoming of all students, and am passionate about delivering curriculum content that represents diversity. I create safe spaces for all of my students to belong to. If students prefer to have mics off, and just use the chat box, I am fine with communicating in a way that helps everyone feel welcomed.
Join my fun and interactive class where learners master their times tables through an engaging online game, meeting for 30 minutes each week. Learners are encouraged to log in independently during the week to practice.
