For eager writers who want to take their craft to the next level! Each day we'll deep dive into a different component of creative writing-- like structure, character creation, effective language, and exciting dialogue.

In this Minecraft class, students will work towards building your own exciting and well-built escape room in Minecraft using some unique redstone concepts, logic gates, different puzzles, building tricks and more.

Students will record focused gameplay using Streamlabs, then edit their video and audio in DaVinci Resolve. They'll learn to cut clips, add effects, and experience the entire video editing process. Students will showcase their finished.

Do you want to be a Streamer on Twitch and Youtube ? Students will learn how to use the program Streamlabs OBS to record or live stream their video games!

This course bridges any gaps from previous years and strengthens up to and including Grade 8 math skills. We prep students for Math 9 success, including those applying for the Independent Learning Center (TVO-ILC). Aligned to Ontario Curriculum.

Each month, we'll read and discuss a different tween/middle grade novel! This book club blends pleasure reading and novel study-- we'll discuss what we love (or dislike!) about the book, as well as theme, symbolism, characters, and structure.

This course is specifically designed to support those enrolled in Math 9 (MTH1W) program through the Independent Learning Center (TVO-ILC). Live teacher instruction, on going support and accountability.
