Number sense is fluidity and flexibility with numbers. It is a deep understanding of individual numbers, their quantities, and how they relate to one another within the number system. 

Small group class and independent reading of Wishtree by Katherine Applegate, with a focus on the theme of kindness and friendship while strengthening comprehension skills. 

Pre-reader. Students will learn phonemic and phonological awareness through an explicit and systematic curriculum. Classes will be multisensory, science of reading, based learning, dyslexia, dysgraphia, EL students, language disorders.

Self-paced. This class is Orton-Gillingham based. Learners will be able to identify word “chunks”/syllable patterns which is needed for encoding and decoding multisyllabic words. 

During this class your learner will be informally assessed and an individualized, lesson plan will be put in place to strengthen number sense math skills and concepts.

Molly’s Pilgrim is a read aloud, book study class about Thanksgiving and friendship. This story features a Jewish family who immigrated to the United States from Russia.
