Secular Curriculum
Hello! Welcome to my profile.
I have taught thousands of English classes with students from China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Indonesia since 2018. After many years of utilizing other companies' platforms and pouring into my classes, I have boldly stepped out on my own. I am both TESOL and TEFL Certified. Bilingual learners helped me fall in love with online teaching.
My other passion is reading. I have completed a 120-hour Science of Reading Certification and personally complete ongoing Professional Development training monthly. My private reading tutoring classes align with data-backed literacy instruction. I am also a reading tutor in America's public schools.
I am the homeschooling parent to four amazing children. Three of our children are neurodiverse, an area that I am very familiar with as a special needs parent. In my role as Mom, I teach students with Autism, Intellectual Disability, Giftedness and Auditory Processing Disorder.
My typical teaching hours here on the East coast align well with homeschooling and international families.
Lastly, I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist. When I am not teaching, I am deeply invested in the health and fitness of my family. I strength train or run daily.
Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to discussing your learner.
