I, NatureGlo, founder of NatureGlo's eScience, am a former private school educator (1996 - 2010) turned online educator (2011 - present) serving home and school educators and their learners with math and science unit study online courses and downloadable curriculum. My classes are suited for ages 8+. I hold a Bachelor's degree in K - 12 education.
Presently, NatureGlo's eScience offers self-paced pre-recorded online courses and live class experiences in MathArt.
MathArt is a mathematics history learning adventure that makes connections with math found in art, architecture, technology, music, nature, and science.
MathArt is STEM and STEAM friendly and can be used alongside a STEM/STEAM curriculum or can be the leading STEM/STEAM curriculum.
Younger siblings often like to join in the live class experience or pre-recorded self-paced online courses.
The Snowflake Man, Wilson Alwyn Bentley (1865 - 1931), America's first snowflake photographer, used an old bellows camera to make the first photographs of snowflakes. This unit study explores Wilson Bentley's life and the mathematics of snowflakes.
